GBL Financial Services, Inc. was established by Hamid Barkah in late 1995. Prior to establishing GBL, Hamid worked in the real estate mortgage business for six years accumulating knowledge of all types of real estate financing. GBL focuses primarily on single-family residence financing but also does commercial and land projects.

Along with conforming lending, we also have access to private investors who are interested in small commercial loans and rehab projects. A sampling of our business partners is: Union Planters Mortgage, Countrywide, Washington Mutual, and many other lenders in the conforming and non-conforming arena. GBL is licensed by the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance, retains membership in the Better Business Bureau and is a member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
